SV12 is the next V2K

I predict that a year from now, except as an interchange format for netlists, Verilog without the System will only be used in “The Land that Time Forgot”. It’s either VHDL or SV12 from now on.

You can measure a programmer’s perspective by noting his attitude on the continuing viability of FORTRAN.

There may be some dusty FORTRAN 77 decks in use out there, but nobody’s writing new ones. Fortran 2008 is worlds away from good old FORTRAN 77.
