The children are not our future

As long as education and learning are primarily seen as something for young people, society can’t reach its full potential.

For example, it could be that the fastest way to achieve higher literacy would be to aggressively promote adult literacy, and the newly literate people will influence their children.

It’s not true that “the children are our future”. It’s more true to say that we are our children’s future.
